Rhys Carter

Rhys is the co-founder and director of The Carter & George Practice. Alongside his business partner, Jamie, he envisioned creating a network of clinics that would make elite healthcare accessible to everyone. From the beginning, their goal was to build a state-of-the-art facility that combined modern equipment and cutting-edge technology with a multidisciplinary team of experts, all while maintaining a strong community focus.

Since opening the first clinic in 2018, Rhys has been instrumental in driving the strategic growth of the business, successfully overseeing the launch and expansion of practices across Hertfordshire and beyond. Under his leadership, The Carter & George Practice has grown from a single clinic to a multi-location network, delivering exceptional service to thousands of patients each year. His vision has been central to establishing a brand that prioritizes innovation, quality, and patient-centered care.

Rhys’s approach to business is grounded in fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. He believes in building a diverse team, drawing expertise from a variety of backgrounds to deliver comprehensive care. This focus on team culture and continuous professional development has been key to the group’s rapid expansion, with each new clinic reflecting the high standards set by the original practice.

Before co-founding The Carter & George Practice, Rhys gained valuable experience in both clinical and strategic roles internationally. He worked with the Singapore Institute of Sport, Dragons Rugby in Dubai (UAE), and private practices in London, managing complex cases and honing his skills as a leader. He also took on unique projects, such as serving as the lead physiotherapist at V Festival, where he treated international artists, and acting as Head Physiotherapist for the Dubai 24hr motor race with Renault. These diverse experiences have shaped his vision for a practice that blends high-level expertise with a focus on patient outcomes and business growth.
