Chris Gillespie
Chris joined Carter & George as the lead physiotherapist for our Radlett Practice in October 2020. In January 2022, Chris moved to Hertford to be lead physiotherapist. As the company has grown, so has our leadership team, and in March 2023, Chris transitioned into the role of Clinical Director.
Chris qualified as a physiotherapist from Bournemouth University and brings a wealth of experience in sports physiotherapy, having worked with esteemed organisations such as Tottenham Hotspur and AFC Bournemouth. He began his career in the NHS as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and has since contributed to England Touch Rugby, as well as providing his expertise at British University and College Sports events and GB Canoe & Kayaking events.
During his tenure at Tottenham Hotspur, Chris achieved Bronze Certification from the ACPSEM and became a certified EXOS Performance Specialist. He is dedicated to continuous professional development and continues to support the Tottenham Hotspur Academy when he is not working at Carter & George.
As a specialist in sports injuries, Chris focuses on injury causation and recurrence, with particular expertise in lower limb injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. He emphasises the use of objective data to inform rehabilitation, aiding clients in achieving their personal goals.
As Clinical Director for Carter & George, Chris provides expert leadership and mentoring for the Lead Physiotherapists. His encouragement and coaching have greatly benefited many across our practices.
